From a research idea
to a world of applications.
Cellix was established in 2006 as a spin-out from the Departments of Physics and Clinical Medicine at Trinity College Dublin.
Starting with microfluidic biochips for cell-based assays, the company expanded into pumps, research systems and label-free cell analysis. Its portfolio supports academic laboratories, pharmaceutical teams and biotechnology companies.
Following its acquisition by Randox Laboratories in 2023, Cellix’s microfluidic expertise also contributes to diagnostic test development.
