Mirus Evo Pump

8-channel Pulse-Free Microfluidic Syringe Pump

8-CHANNEL SPLITTER

with MultiFlow8 providing equal flow rates in each channel of the 8 channels.  For independently controlled flow rates, see our ExiGo pumps.

THROMBOSIS, PLATELET ADHESION & AGGREGATION ASSAYS:

2.25 - 450 dyne/cm  with 1mL syringe and Vena8 Fluoro+ Biochips.

CELL-LIGAND & CELL-CELL ROLLING, ADHESION & MIGRATION SHEAR FLOW ASSAYS:

0.05 - 10 dyne/cm  with 100µL syringe; steps of 0.05 dyne/cm  and Vena8 Fluoro+ and Vena8 Endothelial+ Biochips.

SYRINGE AUTOMATIC REFILLING

PROGRAMMABLE

with PC-controlled VenaFluxAssay software.

FLOW RATES:

100nL/min - 20µL/min with 100µL syringe.  Increased flow rates possible with larger syringes.

STANDARD SYRINGES:

100µL, 250µL, 500µL, 1mL, 5mL glass syringes.

APPLICATIONS

Thrombosis / Platelet Adhesion and Aggregation

shear flow experiments.

Shear based cell rolling, adhesion and transmigration

assays on ligand-coated surface or on endothelial cells for studies in:

Inflammation

:  leukocyte and T-cell adhesion studies for sepsis, statins, immunological disorders.

Asthma & Allergies

: eosinophil adhesion studies for anti-inflammatories, antihistamines (e.g. cetirizine/levocetirizine - montelukast).

Oncology

:  melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

Bacteria

:  E. coli adhesion and biofilm formation

APPLICATION VIDEOS

Thrombosis: Platelet adhesion to vWF coated biochip at 60 dyne/cm²

Thrombosis: Platelet-leukocyte interaction at 2.25 dyne/cm² on collagen coated biochip
